A JOURNEY THROUGH
GOD’S GRACE.
An intentional journey from the reality of our need to the new life Christ has given.
Grace is more than
something we receive.
God does not merely improve a life that was already whole. Ephesians 2 describes us as dead in our trespasses — and then introduces the glorious words: “But God.”
MADE ALIVE is an opportunity to study this grace honestly, worship the One who gives it, and consider what a faithful response looks like beyond the retreat.
Four movements.
One story of grace.
These are the themes guiding the retreat, not a finalized session schedule.
The condition we could not fix.
Understanding sin, spiritual death, and why grace is not an optional encouragement but our deepest need.
REFLECT: WHERE HAVE I TREATED GRACE AS SOMETHING I HAVE EARNED?But God — rich in mercy.
Looking closely at God’s love, Christ’s death and resurrection, and the salvation that comes by grace through faith.
REFLECT: WHAT DOES THE CROSS REVEAL ABOUT GOD’S MERCY?Made alive for a purpose.
Grace does not end with forgiveness; it gives rise to a new life of worship, good works, and obedience.
REFLECT: WHERE IS GOD CALLING ME TO RESPOND?Grace lived in community.
Learning to encourage, pray for, and serve one another as members of God’s household.
REFLECT: HOW WILL I CARRY THIS GRACE HOME?“But God ... made us alive together with Christ.”
That is the heart of MADE ALIVE.
